The 49ers blocked a field goal at the end of the first half vs. Green Bay to keep the score 7-0 and then blocked a punt that was returned for a touchdown to tie the game late in the fourth quarter. To top it all off, kicked the game-winning field goal. San Francisco gained seven points on special teams and took away three in a tight game. The 49ers need to avoid slow starts and slow finishes. While they kept it close with the Packers before scoring the final 10 points of the game, the 49ers didn't score a single point until the third quarter.
