U - for low to medium volume capacity (single shaft). W- indicates large capacity to extra large capacity (dual axis). All contact parts are stainless steel 316. Advantage The Ribbon blender consists of a U-shaped horizontal trough and a specially made ribbon blender. The Ribbon blender consists of a set of inner and outer spiral mixers. The outer band of the Ribbon blender moves material in one direction, while the inner band moves material in the opposite direction. Ribbon blender is used for blends between 40% and 100% of the blender's rated capacity. The backup agitator is our paddle design.
