Description

If you're looking at Spiraling Conspiracy for the first time, don't treat it like a normal minion skill. It doesn't ask you to juggle a screen full of pets or chase extra summon limits. Instead, it gives you one moving flock that sits around your character and chews through nearby enemies while you keep moving. That's why a lot of players compare it to a minion version of Righteous Fire. The build also leans heavily on gear choices, so checking strong POE 2 Items early can make the whole setup feel less awkward once you reach the required level and Intelligence threshold.

How the raven flock actually plays
The Raven's Flock grows as combat goes on. Near rare or unique enemies, it gains a raven over time, and kills can add more based on enemy power. The cap is 30 ravens, but the funny part is that the game still treats the whole swarm as one minion. You'll notice the difference fast. At low raven count, the radius feels tight. Once the flock fills out, the area gets wide enough to clear packs without much aiming. You're not resummoning constantly, either. Most of the time, you're moving, positioning, and letting the flock do its work.

Why Mad Flight matters so much
The passive aura is the comfortable part of the build, but Mad Flight is where bosses start to melt. It spends 10 ravens and sends them through a mirrored lane for several seconds, hitting rapidly inside a narrow corridor. That means placement matters. If a boss moves out, you lose a lot of value. If it stays still, the damage stacks up in a way that feels almost unfair. This is also why cooldown recovery and command support options are such a big deal. You don't want Mad Flight sitting unused during a big damage window.

Gear source and build direction
Spiraling Conspiracy isn't a regular gem you just pick up and socket. It comes from the unique staff The Raven's Flock, tied to Delirium content. That pushes the build in a clear direction: farm Delirium, run Simulacrum when you can, or trade for the staff if you're in a trade league. For a simpler version, stack minion damage, chaos damage, reservation efficiency, and enough defence to stand near danger without folding. For an endgame version, Spirit Walker setups look better, especially when companion buffs and stronger scaling pieces start filling the gaps left by the staff's limited minion level bonuses.

Support choices players shouldn't skip
Added Chaos Damage is usually the first support people reach for, and for good reason. The skill already converts a big chunk of physical damage into chaos, so extra chaos damage helps both mapping and bossing. Minion Mastery is another strong pick because it helps cover the missing gem-level scaling. Feeding Frenzy can feel great while gearing up, and Enormity is useful when you want size, life, and damage in one slot. For Mad Flight, Bidding and Commandment are the supports that make the command side feel sharper. If you're planning to buy upgrades later, browsing POE 2 Items for sale can help you spot the staff, jewels, or defensive pieces that push the build into harder content.
